Jonathan Loeber Obituary

Jonathan A. Loeber, 55 of Oconomowoc, died peacefully at home on Sunday, March 31, 2019

Jon was born on October 21, 1963 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Arthur and Pearl (Marten) Loeber.  He was a salesman in retail fixtures and displays for his entire working career.  On October 28, 2016, he married Denise LeFave.  Jon loved being on or near the water and summertime was his favorite.  Boating was a passion and he and Denise planned on “snowbirding” near the water.  He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers as well as playing golf and softball.  Most of all he, loved watching his son Ryan excel at sports while growing up and he was proud of the fine young man he has become.  Jon’s character will be most cherished – he put others before himself in every situation.  In 2017, Jon adopted Denise’s adult daughters because he wanted them to know how deeply they were loved and he was the loving “Papa” to his granddaughter Briar.  If a family member, friend, or stranger had a need, Jon fulfilled it.  He is described as wonderful husband, loving father and trusted brother.  His faith was paramount, and Jon was confident in his salvation, even to the end.

Jon is survived by: his wife Denise Loeber of Oconomowoc; children Briahna LeFave of Madison, Ryan Loeber of Milwaukee, and Shayla LeFave of Oconomowoc; granddaughter Briar LeFave; and brothers Paul and James (Christine) both of West Bend.  He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials in Jon’s name to Devine Redeemer Lutheran Church would be greatly appreciated.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00PM on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Devine Redeemer Lutheran Church (31385 Hill Rd.) of Hartland with Rev.
