Jean A. Lynch

Jean A. Lynch, 82 of Jefferson, died peacefully at Rainbow Inpatient Hospice on October 1, 2018.

Jean was born November 8, 1935 in Pewaukee, WI, the daughter of Hugo and Pearl (Hoffman) Springob. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1953 and married Robert H. “Butch” Lynch on June 5, 1954 in Sullivan WI. They made their home in Helenville, and later Jefferson.  Jean worked for many years at Fort Memorial Hospital as a Nursing Assistant, then as a Therapy Aide. She was also employed at Stokley USA and St. Coletta.  Jean enjoyed playing Euchre, Casino trips for the “Lucky Sevens”, a “really good burger”, shopping trips to Kohls and keeping up with her Grandchildren.  Her children are thankful to know that their mom loved them and was proud of the people they became.

Surviving are: her children Janet (Michael) Sohm of Oshkosh, Thomas (Sherry) Lynch of Oshkosh; grandchildren Kendra Sohm , Debra Sohm, Kami Lynch, Matthew Sohm, Shaun (Julie) Lynch and Jake Lynch; 5 great-grandchildren; and a granddog; siblings Joyce Rueth and Joan Deeter both of Jefferson, Mary Stevens of Monrovia, CA, Ken (Janice) Springob Greenville, WI and a sister-in-law Alice Lynch of Helenville.  She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Per Jean’s wishes, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
