Brian J. Hulstien, 47 of Jefferson, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Marquardt Rehabilitation Center of Watertown.
Brian was born on May 6, 1971 in Fort Atkinson, WI, the son of Edward and Beverly (Skibbe) Hulstien. He was is a 1990 graduate of Jefferson High School and was recently employed at Nasco of Fort Atkinson. In his youth, Brian was involved in Boy Scouts of America and excelled at selling tickets and raising funds for the organization. He was a social butterfly and enjoyed watching professional wrestling on the television. Brian was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church of Jefferson and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Brian is survived by: his father Ed of Jefferson; brother Barry of Jefferson; and Uncle Bill (Becky) Hulstien of Fort Atkinson. He is also survived by a many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, uncles Corky, Marvin, Richard, Larry, and Gerrit Hulstien, Ron Skibbe, aunts Joan Skibbe and Jean Kakac, and cousin Scott Hulstien.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home of Jefferson with Rev. Jeanette Thorp of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church presiding. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Brian will be buried at Union Cemetery following the funeral.
